The most interesting tour will take you to the unspoiled rural floating market of Damnuen Saduak, situated 110 kms west of Bangkok. This floating market, one of the most authentic left in Thailand, is a glimpse into the past of how locally grown produce was sold along the many rivers of Thailand.

The River Kwai, more correctly Khwae Noi or Khwae Sai Yok is a river in western Thailand, near the border with Myanmar. It begins at the confluence of Ranti, Songkalia and Bikhli Rivers.

Bridge on the River Kwai was built by the Prisoners of war when Kanchanaburi province was under Japanese control in 1942. This bridge was built by the Prisoners of War during that period when they had also built the infamous Thailand-Burma railway. More than half of the prisoners working on this project had died due to disease, maltreatment and accidents. At Kanchanaburi there is a memorial and two museums to commemorate the dead i.e. the Thailand-Burma Railway Museum and the Jeath War Museum dedicated to the bridge and the Death Railway i.e. the Thailand-Burma railway built during the World War II.

The Tiger Temple is located in Saiyok District of Kanchanaburi province along 37 kilometre of the highway number 323 and takes about 3 hours to reach there from Bangkok. Since the opening of the Tiger Temple in the year 1994 it has gained reputation as a unique wildlife sanctuary. It is approximately 270 acres in size and houses the famous Bodhi tree which is a symbol of Lord Buddha. It is a wonderful place where tigers and humans can come to close proximity with each other and humans can actually touch the tigers, pamper them and take photos with them while the tigers are lazying around and relaxing in their natural habitat. Visitors can takes photos when tigers are brought out to the main area in front of the tiger falls enclosure. Also when tigers are walked down to the Canyon visitors can walk down along with the tigers in small groups and can have the privilege of getting their photos taken while walking besides the tigers. Also visitors can go upto the small waterfall and can take photos along with the younger cubs. The Tiger Temple also provides unique opportunity to the vistors to have an insider’s view into the life of the tigers at the Tiger Temple. It is a once in a lifetime experience where one can experience unique, uninterrupted and personal encounters with one of the most frightening creatures of the animal kingdom.

Day 1

06:30 a.m. Meet at Hotel Lobby and Pick up

08:00 a.m. Depart from Bangkok to Damnuen Saduak Floating Market

09:30 a.m. Arrive at the ferry boat pier and take a long tailed speed boat to the main part of the floating market and see various shapes of boat sizes. We have time of 1 hour to walk around and see the market.

12:30 p.m. Lunch at Thai food restaurant

14:30 p.m. Visit the Jeath Museum

15:30 p.m. Visit the Bridge over River Kwai

16:30 p.m. Take the train to see a long Death Railway,The most dangerous curving bridge

18:00 p.m. Go to the Floating House

18:30 p.m.  Arrive at the floating house for stay over night and free time

20:00 p.m. Thai Dinner

Day 2

08:00 a.m. Thai Breakfast

09:30 a.m. Go to the Elephant Camp

10:00 a.m. Elephant riding and bamboo rafting along the river Kwai

12:00 p.m. Thai buffet lunch

13:30 p.m. Visit Sai Yok Noi waterfall ½ hour free time

14: 00 p.m. Go to tiger Temple

17:00 p.m. leave for Bangkok
