It's January - and what have we learned about this month? That January is typically when studios release films they don't have high expectations for. Sure, there are exceptions to the rule, but for the most part January is 'dump' month. Now, I'm not saying Man on a Ledge is a horrible movie, but there's a good reason it's hitting theaters in January. It's fun enough for what it is, but it definitely isn't one of those movies you need to rush out and see.

Relativity Media looked in the mirror and what they saw made them decide to move the release date of their Snow White project back two weeks. Mirror Mirror starring Lily Collins, Julia Roberts and Armie Hammer will now be attempting to enchant audiences on March 30th rather than March 18th. The move puts the Snow White fantasy film closer to the Easter holiday, which could help its chances at attracting a younger audience, and puts it up against Wrath of the Titans.

English stand-up comedian RUSSELL BRAND has started an odyssey of serial dating, and has been trashing soon-to-be-ex-wife KATY PERRY to the women he goes out with.

Hmmm…bitter much?

Looks like Russell has left a lot of things unsaid before filing for divorce, and is making up for lost time by bad-mouthing Katy in front of the bevy of beauties he’s been seen with night after night. Didn’t these two meet for some last ditch talks to save their marriage? Looks like the dialogue may have turned ugly because Brand is certainly turning on the vitriol…

“She discovered through her friends,”

a source revealed to US Weekly.

“One of the women told a friend of hers and it got back to Katy.”

And here we thought Russell Brand was the kind of English gentleman who’d think to leave well enough alone…he filed the divorce papers, after all.

“He’s spoken terribly about Katy to them,”

the source continued, saying Russell has singled out a particular female from his string of ladies with whom he’d expressed the desire to “explore a relationship” with.

“[Russell] told her he wanted her to move in with him after the divorce is final.”

We think Russell Brand may be hurting very badly and reacting to that hurt in the wrong way, and Katy Perry‘s been keeping her mouth shut all this while in the face of rumor and speculation.

Say something already, Katy!

CHARLIE SHEEN‘s ex-wife, BROOKE MUELLER has volunteered to extend her rehab treatment, and even quit smoking just to show how serious she is about getting her life back together.

Late last year, Brooke was arrested in Aspen, Colorado for cocaine possession, and Charlie Sheen had to bail her out of jail. She promptly checked herself into rehab from out-of-state, perhaps in a bid not to lose custody of her sons. But out of the blue, Brooke says she’s clocking in for a longer stint at the treatment center, and has even quit smoking in an effort at detoxification…

Hmmm…wonder what the huge draw for Brooke at the rehab center is.

“This is a dramatic turn of events for Brooke as this is the first time she has ever voluntarily decided to stay in rehab. This program she is in is working, and Brooke is getting sober for herself, and that is the first time she has ever said that. In the past, family, friends have forced her into rehab, but not this time. Brooke is taking an active role in her sobriety,”

a source revealed to RadarOnline of Brooke‘s decision to extend her stay in rehab beyond the requisite 30 days.

“Brooke quit smoking on her own, she doesn’t want to do anything unhealthy to herself anymore. Her treatment team is so impressed with her accomplishments. Brooke has said instead of smoking cigarette’s, she will take vitamins!”

The source continued. And we’re talking about a 10-year chain-smoker here.

Brooke Mueller is expected to stay in rehab for another month, and somewhere in Hollywood, a newly lucid Charlie Sheen is heaving a great sigh of relief…

JENNIFER ANISTON bitched about BFF, CHELSEA HANDLER‘s hygiene issues as soon as her back is turned in a zany spoof on E! Entertainment. Hmmm..why does Jen look and sound so utterly convincing?

Jen‘s comedic timing is impeccable, and she segues into being a total back-stabbing snake in the grass as soon as her potty-mouth talk show host pal leaves the room after having introduced her to a staff of writers brainstorming ideas for E!’s show, “Chelsea Lately”…

Jen immediately starts slinging the crap on her supposed friend’s busy schedule:

“Busy doing what, gossiping about more successful people that are better-looking than her? Putting her name on another dumb book to make the world an even dumber place?”

She says cattily.

“And then her hygiene… have you noticed this? Honestly, when we were in Cabo, she never showered! She would be like, ‘What? I went in the pool’. It’s gross!”

The video’s a spoof, which we supposed was done to add some entertainment value to “Chelsea Lately” after a host of other celebrities have slammed Handler for her ordinariness and lack of talent. Adding Jen Aniston to the mix to bring irony to it all should have done the trick of lampooning what’s getting to be a Chelsea epidemic.

But Jen sounds so amazingly real here…you’d think she feels the exact same way about her so-called friend.

“The Nanny” star FRAN DRESCHER says she believes she was abducted by aliens in junior high. Hmmm…and were these aliens also responsible for her highly irritating nasal Queens accent?

Fran, who successfully parlayed her accent, saucy attitude, and a killer body as Fran Fine, nanny extraordinaire, in the 90′s sitcom, believes she’s been to outer space and back…only she can’t remember a single thing about her experience. She also says ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson, who co-created “The Nanny” with her, was also abducted by extra-terrestrials around the same period she was…

Has Fran Drescher gone off the deep end?

“You know, it’s funny because Peter and I both saw [aliens] before we knew each other, doing the same thing, driving on the road with our dads,”

Fran, 54, told The Huffington Post in all seriousness.

“We were both in junior high. A few years later, we met, and we realized that we had the same experience. I think that somehow we were programmed to meet. We both have this scar. It’s the exact same scar on the exact same spot.”

She relates that her ex-Jacobson, whom she remained in good terms with even after he came out of the closet after their marriage ended, refuses to believe they have aliens in their past. He says Fran got the small scar on her hand from a a drill bit or burning herself holding a hot cup of water. But Fran remains adamant.

“I said to him, that’s what the aliens programmed us to think,”

she insisted.

“But really, that’s where the chip is.”

So is Fran Drescher putting us on, or are we seeing the early onset of dementia?

KATE BECKINSALE strutted her stuff in Christian Dior at the “Underworld: Awakening” photocall In Berlin. Check it out:

Kate, who wore a sexy red Michael Kors dress at the “Underworld: Awakening” photocall in Madrid, opted for a strapless Christian Dior dress from the designer’s Spring 2012 collection when she hit up Berlin to promote her new movie.

The actress completed the look with simple black peep-toes and a large cocktail ring.

As for hair and makeup, Kate pulled her dark curls into a high ponytail and accentuated her gorgeous features with soft smokey eyes and glossy pink lips.

We actually like her hair and makeup here, although not everyone would probably agree, as the hairstyle seems too teenybopper-esque for someone like Kate. But she looks so cute!

The dress, on the other hand, is just blah. It doesn’t do anything for her figure, and it’s boring.

Hollywood news has just seen HEIDI KLUM out and about since her split from SEAL, and she’s still wearing her wedding ring.

Seal has been making TV appearances left and right since he and Heidi announced their split a few days ago, and he’s been wearing his wedding ring the entire time.

And, as it turns out, Heidi is, too.

The German supermodel was seen out and about in Los Angeles on Wednesday, looking very somber as she went about her business in a black outfit, barely-there makeup, and her wedding ring.

Seal also hasn’t taken his ring off, despite the split.  During his recent appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the singer explained:

“I think it’s just pretty much a token of how I feel about this woman. We have eight years. Eight wonderful years together. Just because we have decided to separate doesn’t necessarily mean you take off your ring and you’re no longer connected to that person.”

Kind of seems like there’s a big chance they could back together soon, don’t you think?

Joe Anderson plays one of the plane crash survivors menaced by huge, hungry wolves in the thriller The Grey starring Liam Neeson, Frank Grillo, Dermot Mulroney, and Dallas Roberts. Anderson, whose credits include Across the Universe, Control, and The Crazies, thought he was ready to take on the role until he actually found himself 300 miles south of the Arctic Circle in weather no one should be out messing around in. The freezing temperatures helped the cast to bond and taught each of them new survival skills they'll, hopefully, never have to put to use again.

In our exclusive interview in support of The Grey's release in theaters on January 27th, Anderson talked about what it was like working in those freezing conditions, what substituted for live wolves in some scenes, and what piece of clothing he decided he can't do without should he ever find himself stuck in -35 degree weather again. We also talked about his work on ABC's The River and where he stands on vampires who don't have fangs (Anderson plays Alistair in Twilight: Breaking Dawn):

CAMERON DIAZ looked stunning in polka dots at the Dior fashion show in Paris earlier this week. The “Bad Teacher” star was absolutely glowing:

Getting it on with Diddy (allegedly) was probably the best thing Cameron ever did, because she’s looking better than ever!

The actress was noticeably blooming at Paris Fashion Week at the Dior’s Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2012 show on Monday in a black and white polka dot dress by Dior, which she accessorized with a black patent belt and black gladiator sandals.

Cameron completed the retro look with a poufy updo, rosy cheeks, and bright coral lipstick.

MADONNA attended the New York premiere of “W.E.” in an extravagant Marchesa dress…

Yay or nay?

For her latest red carpet appearance, Madonna chose an eye-popping velvet Marchesa gown with an embroidered bodice, a long dramatic train, and tulle sleeves. The most striking feature, however, was the puffy tulle fabric around her shoulders.

The Material Girl accessorized with a silver necklace with a “W.E.” pendant, chunky bracelets and rings, and black peep-toe pumps.

Soft, natural makeup and a wavy faux bob completed the look.

We think the dress would have looked better on someone taller… someone much, much taller.  On Madonna’s tiny frame, it just looks huge and overpowering.

Hollywood celebrity gossip has learned that JASON DERULO is recovering well from his fractured neck… thanks to his girlfriend JORDIN SPARKS!

The R&B star, who fractured his neck earlier this month while practicing some acrobatic moves for his tour, tells PEOPLE that he is slowly getting better—with the help of Jordin Sparks, whom he’s been dating since last year. Derulo shares:

“I’m taking it one day at a time… It’s been really eye opening. It’s given me a chance to look at everything and realize how blessed I truly am.”

Another blessing in his life? His girlfriend, Jordin. The singer admits:

“We are together… She lives in Phoenix and she comes [to Miami] and takes care of me, brings me breakfast in bed and she’ll go on walks with me.”

He adds:

“We’ve gotten closer because of my accident. It’s awesome to have someone you can talk to and she’s a wonderful person.”

And as for what he’s doing while he’s recovering, Jason reveals that he’s working on a new album. He shares:

“I’m going to make another album while I’m down… We’ll see what comes out of that. I don’t know what it’s called yet, but it’s really inspired.”

VICTORIA BECKHAM modeled for Japan’s Numero Magazine just six months after having given birth to her fourth child, Harper Seven. She doesn’t even look like she’d ever been pregnant at all.

The former Spice Girl covered the magazine’s March issue, and posed in lingerie on it’s inside pages, showing her always svelte, always slender figure. Is her sudden slim-down so shocking? Not really. But she looks really good for someone who currently carries a half-year-old baby around…

The 37-year-old fashion designer is, after all, famous for being able to stick to a strict diet, especially so now that she’s just had a baby and needs to maintain her petite figure to fit into all her creations.

“I’m addicted to kale!!”

Victoria shouted out on her Twitter account, referring to a form of cabbage that’s high in beta carotene, vitamin K, vitamin C, lutein, and calcium.

“wash, break into small pieces, sprinkle a little salt and roast, it’s so good and amazing for u!!! X vb”

No wonder Victoria Beckham is so thin. If we were as addicted to vegetables as she is, we’d probably all be a size zero today, too.

JUSTIN BIEBER is doing his charitable share to boost organ donor registrations in Ontario by using his immense popularity to urge fans and followers to support organ and blood donation in Canada.

Way to go, Justin!

A fan pleaded with the “Baby” singer to help spread the word about savings lives through organ donation in his native Canada, and Justin obliged with a shoutout to his 16.7 million followers. The impact, to say the least…was huge!

“Hey @justinbieber! I BELIEB you should use that Canadian voice of yours and help save lives like mine #beanorgandonor beadonor.ca #giveblood”.”

Helene Campbell, using the handle @alungstory tweeted Justin last week.

And Justin immediately agreed to help Campbell, who herself is awaiting a lung transplant:

“i got the word….you have amazing strength. i got u. #BeAnOrganDonor.”

Justin sent back, and followed this tweet up with:

“help spread the word for @alungstory http://www.alungstory.ca/ #BeAnOrganDonor”

and

“and @alungstory NEVER SAY NEVER”.

Thanks to Justin Bieber, the Ontario-based Trillium Gift of Life Network saw donations rise to 1,200 people, more than four times the amount the network usually receives. And all of these registrations will eventually help save the lives of over 1,500 people in Ontario currently waiting for an organ transplant.

After Campbell thanked the Bieb for having helped spur this rise in future donations, Justin humbly responded with:

“glad to be able to help. best part of what i do.”

Don’t you just love this kid!

And while we’re at it, don’t we know other celebrities who have as many Twitter followers as Justin Bieber? Wonder if they can take a few seconds out of their day to use their popularity to help save lives instead of send useless and inane updates…

Were DEMI MOORE‘s “health and exhaustion” issues that led to the 911 call and her subsequent hospitalization caused by substance abuse, after all?

According to Hollywood rumors, Demi was getting down and dirty with a substance known as nitrous oxide, which elicits a brief high upon inhalation. Unfortunately, the soon-to-be divorced actress may have taken in a dangerous amount through her nostrils because she lapsed into semi-consciousness and had a seizure right afterwards…

Nitrous oxide, in case you didn’t know, goes by the street name, “whip-it,” and isn’t a common drug among people of Demi‘s age or social status. You’d normally see kids doing whip-it as a recreational drug at parties to enjoy a short spurt of euphoria, sort of like a “laughing gas” effect. So one wonders why Demi was doing whip-it with a friend who called 911 after she started convulsing from the cheap thrill.

No wonder Ashton Kutcher refused to comment about Demi‘s state of health, and continued to party the night away in Sao Paulo, Brazil where he’d concluded some modeling commitments over the weekend…

A man goes to great lengths (actually, heights) to fight an injustice, a crew of oil riggers fall out of the sky and onto the dinner plates of hungry wolves, and Katherine Heigl stars in a movie that's not screening for critics. Yes, these are Hollywood's latest offerings, all coming to theaters this weekend.

Will Liam Neeson continue his action film winning streak or will the thriller about a man up on a ledge starring Sam Worthington (Avatar) draw in audiences? Or maybe ticket buyers don't care that One for the Money wasn't previewed for critics prior to its release (that's usually not a good sign). I don't know which one will win, but it's a safe bet that Underworld Awakening won't be repeating at the top of the charts when the weekend's over and done with.

BRAD PITT has finally admitted, after all these years of hemming and hawing, that he and partner, ANGELINA JOLIE would like to get married.

Well, there you go. Why use the excuse of not getting hitched until all other genders around the planet can when you’re actually dying to tie the knot? We’ve always credited Brad and Angie with being so real, they hurt our eyes, only to find out they’ve been letting some skewed-up system of principles keep them from making it legal? Well. To say we’re disillusioned is an understatement…

“We’d actually like to,”

the 48-year-old Oscar nominee earnestly expounded on marriage in an exclusive interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“And it seems to mean more and more to our kids.”

Do be honest, Brad. Do your six United Colors of Benetton kids actually care if mommy and daddy are married as long as you’re all together under the same roof? Or are you and Angie just using them as an increasingly flimsy excuse to put the whole thing off?

“We made this declaration some time ago that we weren’t going to do it till everyone can,”

Brad continued.

“But I don’t think we’ll be able to hold out…to be in love with someone and be raising a family with someone and want to make that commitment and not be able to is ludicrous, just ludicrous.”

So what’s stopping you, then? Make that appointment at city hall. Take all the kids with you. It’ll be over in less than an hour, and you won’t have to worry about the press speculating about whether the two of you are ever going to get married…ever again…

Meet Khloe Kardashian, Dallas’ newest radio DJ!

“I have some very exciting news for you,” I’m returning to radio!!!!!!,”

Khloe gushed on her blog.

“I’ll be joining the team at Mix 102.9 every day from 12-1pm CST for my very own show, The Mix Up with Khloé, and I could not be more thrilled about it!”

It isn’t actually Khloe‘s first time on radio. She did a short stint on a weekly Miami radio program a few years ago while  living in South Florida to shoot one of her many reality shows, “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.”

“You all know that I love to talk LOL, so this is the perfect gig for me,”

Khloe bubbled.

“I can’t wait to get started!”

We can’t help but admire the way Khloe, of all the Kardashians, seems to show the most maturity and the most common sense. Dare we hope she’ll be the Klan’s saving grace when push comes to shove?

ASHTON KUTCHER was surfing the streets of Sao Paulo, Brazil and partying with pals while DEMI MOORE was in the hospital back in the States.

Don’t you just love the way Ashton‘s having the time of his life while his estranged wife recovers from what was described as “seizures” that prompted a 911 call?

Ashton was in South America doing a shoot for clothing brand Colcci’s new catolog with pregnant supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio during the weekend. And when the shoot finished, the actor stayed to party with friends and post this photo of himself on Twitter…

“Surfing the streets of Sao Paulo”

the grinning pic was captioned. Ashton seemed in no hurry to fly to the States despite probably having heard his estranged wife had been rushed to the hospital for health and exhaustion issues.

It’s not as if there’s any love lost between these two. They did snub each other in public during a pre-Golden Globes party, so why would you expect a newly-single Ashton to make haste to his hospitalized ex-wife’s side in her moment of crisis?

Looks like Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are so totally not going to have the amicable post-marriage relationship Demi has with Bruce Willis.

” The Social Network’s” ARMIE HAMMER has been busted for pot possession but isn’t taking the fall for it. A’int it great to be a Hollywood star?

The 25-year-old up-and-coming actor was arrested in Sierra Blanca, Texas when a drug sniffing dog found pot in his car during a routine inspection at a border patrol check point. But star news just learned Armie‘s not going to be prosecuted for the offense at all. Did he bribe the police officer and his nice doggie with a ready cash stash?

According to the police report, Armie was found with “0.02 ounces of marijuana, three medicinal marijuana cookies and one brownie.”

So why wasn’t the “J. Edgar” actor charged with possession of an illegal substance cleverly marketed as “medical?”

The DA declined to press charges because a felony requires more than 4 ounces of actual marijuana. So Armie paid his $1,000 bond and waltzed out the door after spending a day in jail.

Wonder if his brief stint in the slammer worked any medical wonders for his constitution…

“Sex and the City” star CYNTHIA NIXON has gone bald! As in shiny, fuzz-free bald! The actress dropped jaws when she debuted her drastic new look during her appearance on “Live! With Kelly” earlier this week.

Celebrity gossip websites were shocked to learn that the openly gay actress, who is most known for playing workaholic lawyer Miranda Hobbes on the “Sex and the City” TV series and films, had shaved off her trademark red locks (which were actually blonde at the time) to sport an extreme skinhead look.

But why is Cynthia bald?

Well, it definitely wasn’t because she felt it would be a great look for her… and it certainly wasn’t because she had lost all her hair (although hair loss in women is quite common, you know… just ask Tyra Banks).

Actually, Cynthia shaved her head for a role in a Broadway play called “Wit,” in which she stars as a poetry professor who battles cancer and, obviously, loses all her hair due to chemotherapy.

“Wit” premieres this Thursday at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

SEAL isn’t ruling out reconciliation with his wife HEIDI KLUM… in fact, the singer thinks they could still get back together.

Ever since they announced their separation, Seal hasn’t stopped talking about his recent split from supermodel wife Heidi Klum. After an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, during which he talked about why he was still wearing his wedding ring, the singer went on “Piers Morgan Tonight” and discussed the possibilities of reconciliation. Seal reveals:

“It may happen, [but] I can’t speak for her.”

The “Kiss From a Rose” singer adds:

“Is it irreparable? You can never say never. The thing I love most about us is that we are a team … that won’t change, whether we get back together or not.”

But of course, despite his openness to the idea, Seal admits that he isn’t so sure if he wants to get back together with his wife. He shares:

“I don’t know at this point, to be honest [if I want to reconcile]. If it were that easy – if there weren’t problems, we’d still be together. That is the reality.”

However, separated or not, Seal admits that he is still very much in love with Heidi. He says:

“My love for her has not waned one iota… I love her with all my heart. How can you not love somebody [who] you’ve spent eight years with?”

As for his wedding ring, which he still hasn’t removed from his finger, Seal says:

“What this means to me and what it stands for [is] respect… It stands for loyalty, it stands for incredible memories, and it stands for these four little miracles – and Heidi, making five – that have come into my life.”

Aaww. We really hope they’d get back together!

RIHANNA showed off her new TUPAC-inspired tattoo on Twitter a few hours ago. Check it out:

Rihanna is obviously a fan of the late rapper, because she recently tattooed the words “THUG LIFE”—the name of the rap group formed by Tupac and his friends—on her knuckles.

The Barbadian singer posted the photo on her Twitter account today with the caption:

“? All these bitches screaming that 2pac back ? #THUGLIFE”

So she’s got Tupac on her hands and The Beatles’ John Lennon on her chest (that’s his face on her T-shirt)… kind of conflicting, don’t you think?
