Sabudana Kheer (Sago Pudding)

Ingredients

  • Milk ? 1 Litre

  • Fresh Cream ? 1 Litre

  • Condensed Milk to taste

  • Cardamom Powder ? 1 tsp.

  • Kesar(saffron) ? 10 strands

  • Almonds, Cashews chopped finely ? ? cup

  • Sago (Sabudana) ? ? Cup.

Method

  • Take a thick bottomed pan and put a pinch of ghee and Saut? the sabudana (sago).

  • Pour Milk and Cream together adding condensed milk as per desired sweetness.

  • Bring to boil then cook on low flame.

  • Add the saffron, cardamom powder, chopped nuts and keep boiling on low flame until the mixture condenses and begins to thicken a bit.

  • Remove from flame, and put in desired Dish.

  • Serve chilled, garnish with fresh fruits or Dry Fruits.
